Mission Statement of the 2010-11 Women’s Ministries Committee
Women’s Ministries addresses the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of women in the Goldendale SDA Church, and encourages them to improve their potential for participation in our church’s mission.

“enditnow” --Sabbath, August 28, Your support is appreciated The Adventist church (worldwide) is leading out in saying “no to violence" against women and girl children. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) and Women’s Ministries Dept. are partnering to support this long-overdue global initiative. The goal is to turn over 1 million signatures from over 200 countries to the United Nations to highlight this issue, and to encourage the creation of new policies to protect women and girl children against abuse. We will have petitions for both men and women to sign in support of the “enditnow” campaign in the foyer after church on August 28.
A poster has also been furnished by our denomination with a request that we write our personal messages on it in addition to signing the petition. The poster and petitions will be forwarded to the United Nations.
If you miss signing a petition this Sabbath, one will be kept in the foyer which will have a final deadline of Sabbath, Sept. 18.
